SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR | Lawrence Howard, M.D.

Larry has been the Senior Managing Director of Hudson Ventures since 1996. After practicing medicine from 1981 to 1988, Larry co-founded Presstek, Inc., a publicly held graphic arts company whose market value grew from $12 million to $800 million under his direction. Larry served as President and CEO of Presstek from 1987 until 1992. He has been credited as one of the key architects behind Presstek's success and supervised its initial private financing, public offering in 1989 and subsequent private financing. Larry now serves on the Board of Presstek, and is Chairman of the Board at iCAD. He also serves on the Boards of several of Hudson Ventures portfolio companies including Certpoint and LogMatrix. In addition, Larry is President of the Board of Trustees at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Diabetes Research Institute.

Larry holds a B.S. degree from the University of New Hampshire and an M.D. degree from New York Medical College. He resides in New York City with his family and enjoys tennis, skiing and golfing in his spare time.
